Network Resiliency Assessment

Network Resiliency Assessment is done on the updated and current network diagram of the organization’s data center, data recovery site, and / or the office. This will assist the organisation to better position their network devices and other best practices out there to strengthen their network in terms of security and maximise the utilisation of the components in the network, i.e. network devices, firewalls, etc. so that they would not be underutilized.

In accordance to Risk Management in Technology (RMiT) Guidelines by Bank Negara Malaysia, there are a few items under clause S 10.33 – S 10.40 that need to be complied with the organisation under test. The checklist will be tested based on the methods below, but not limited to;

• Interviewing of Relevant Personnel from the Organization Under Test
• Visiting the Data Center, Data Recovery Site and / or Office Network Under Test
• Proof / Screenshots / Records of the mentioned items to be provided

Upon completion of the first study of the diagram and the network design, the vulnerabilities will be uncovered and identified before being edited into a complete report together with the proper recommendations. Once the report has been submitted to the organization, FIRMUS will continue to provide the best advice and assistance to help close all the vulnerabilities discovered and will do a review on the actions taken by the organization.
